LBA AMCO places Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at the heart of its strategy and is determined to conduct its business with due regard for environmental and social issues.
Convinced that intelligent flow management contributes to a more sustainable environment, LBA AMCO is taking concrete action to optimise travel, reduce emissions and enhance security.
The 100% French manufacture of our products and the use of short distribution channels reflect our commitment to limiting our carbon footprint, while promoting the local economy.
With two sites in France and 160 employees, LBA AMCO is asserting its responsibility as an industrial player, committed to the transition towards a more sustainable model for the benefit of its customers and the community.

Assessing our impact throughout the value chain is a key step in our approach. It gives us a clear, structured vision, which is essential in effectively controlling and reducing the CO₂ emissions generated by our activities and products.
Sustainable consumption
LBA AMCO is building a responsible corporate culture by encouraging concrete actions on a daily basis, such as sorting waste, reducing consumption and extending the life of equipment.
These actions, albeit low-key, contribute to building a more responsible, forward-looking corporate culture.
Thanks to the installation of presence sensors and LED lighting, LBA AMCO also reduced its energy consumption by 36% between 2021 and 2024.
Human capital
At LBA AMCO, we care about the well-being and safety of our employees. We promote quality of life at work through small daily gestures (fresh fruit, sporting activities), social events and benefits. At the same time, our zero-accident policy is based on rigorous risk prevention, safety training on arrival, regular team feedback sessions and ergonomic workstations, designed to make work less arduous and protect everyone’s health.
Business ethics
LBA AMCO ensures shared responsibility by requiring its partners to comply with a CSR charter covering social, environmental and ethical commitments. This charter is sent with each order and has already been signed by 70% of our strategic suppliers, reflecting our desire to work with committed partners.
Regions and culture
At LBA AMCO, we see professional integration as a key driver of social inclusion. Committed to the “Charte des 1000” company CSR commitment charter and the Lyon Metropole Manifesto for Sustainable Industry, we combine social impact, respect for the environment and industrial performance. We work with ESATs (sheltered workshops) to integrate people with disabilities and we collaborate with specialist agencies to facilitate the return to employment of the long-term unemployed. Our sites are also easily accessible in less than 40 minutes by public transport, with timetables to suit everyone’s mobility.

Example of Miss Clean, a hand sanitiser gel dispenser
Miss Clean is a hand sanitiser gel dispenser designed to meet the needs that emerged during the Covid-19 crisis. Made from repurposed urban bollards, it is installed in busy urban areas and offers a sustainable alternative to the mass use of disposable consumables such as hand sanitiser gel bottles, helping to protect the environment.
FLEX ARM BARRIER
LBA has revolutionised the toll collection sector by developing an innovative system that combines automatic un-hinging and rehinging with the flex arm, a flexible beam designed to minimise the consumption of spare parts. This system reduces the need for human intervention in the event of an impact because of its automatic mechanism, while limiting maintenance thanks to a virtually maintenance-free arm. The result: a significant reduction in CO₂ emissions linked to breakdowns and a sharp reduction in waste production, for a more sustainable and efficient toll system.
