Anti-ram barrier
Perimeter protection designed to withstand vehicle-ramming attacks
A traditional fence defines the boundaries of a site, but areas exposed to vehicle intrusion require dedicated protection. AR 7548 and AR 7580 anti-ram barriers can replace fencing along sections where this risk is a priority, or complement an existing perimeter security system.
Both models are based on modular sections that can follow the angles, curves and slopes of the terrain. The key difference lies in their stated resistance level: the AR 7548 is designed to withstand the impact of a 7.2-tonne heavy vehicle travelling at 48 km/h, while the AR 7580 is designed for impacts at 80 km/h.
This solution makes it possible to tailor protection to the most sensitive areas of the perimeter, particularly around access points and traffic routes.
