Automatic retractable bollard - Withstands the impact of a 3.5-tonne HGV at 50 km/h
The A25-60 C50 retractable security bollard is made of steel, 25 cm in diameter and 60 cm high. A wide range of versions is available (LEDs, stainless steel).
The frames and the surfaces exposed to tread are made of stainless steel, offering high tread resistance. Operational after a crash test with a 1.1-tonne car at 50 km/h, its resistance is supplemented by a digital crash test carried out by an independent Cofrac-approved body, during which the bollard stopped a 3.5-tonne HGV travelling at 48 km/h without vehicle entry. The drive system is integrated in a separate compartment, accessible without disassembling the bollard. It is also available with a remote hydraulic drive system.
