Retractable road blocker - Withstands the impact of a 7.2-tonne HGV at 48 km/h
The ALE RB50-C50 FP road blocker, manufactured by AMCO, is a hydraulically powered automatic security barrier.
Measuring 50 cm in height, it is available in lengths of 2.5 to 4 m.
The RB50 is supplied with 15 m of hydraulic pipe for connection to the One-C technical module.
Its galvanised steel frame is just 12 cm high, allowing the device to be sealed in a 30 cm deep excavation. The RB50 can also be fixed to an existing or new concrete slab with access ramps.
The bellows side is made of a flexible material that prevents the device from jamming in the event of an impact. The surface exposed to the tread is composed of multiple chequered sheets removable by a person working alone and provides access to inspection hatches for visual inspection inside the device.
This road blocker is powered by an industrial hydraulic pump, which is offset to an adjoining unit (Totem, cabinet, technical room, etc.). The underground part of the RB50 does not contain any integrated sensitive elements.
Its resistance is certified by a digital crash test carried out by an independent Cofrac-accredited body in accordance with ISO 22343-1. The RB50 stopped a 7.2-tonne HGV travelling at 48 km/h.
