Automatic retractable bollard - Withstands the impact of a 7.5 HGV at 64 km/h
The ALE SA25-60 C80 bollard manufactured by AMCO is a retractable mechanical security bollard with semi-automatic operation.
Made of steel, with a diameter of 25 cm and a height of 60 cm, it is lowered by pressing on the bollard and raised automatically by a gas cylinder.
The lock is a multi-level security device that can only be operated with the key supplied. It is integrated into the bollard head, and the floor plate and the top of the cylinder are made of stainless steel.
A wide range of configurations is available, including RAL colours, seafront treatment, emergency services lock and anti-vandalism screws.
Its resistance is certified with a crash test, during which the bollard stopped a 1.75-tonne HGV travelling at 80km/h, with the bollard remaining operational after the impact and without vehicle entry, supplemented by a digital crash test carried out by an independent Cofrac-accredited body in accordance with IWA14-1, proving its ability to stop a 7.5-tonne HGV travelling at 64km/h.
