Automatic security barrier - Withstands the impact of a 7.2-tonne HGV at 80 km/h
The ALE-AB-C80 security barrier, manufactured by AMCO, is an automatic boom security barrier.
Equipped with a 185 x 100 mm aluminium axial arm with an integrated retaining device, it is available in lengths of 2 to 6 m.
The AB-C80 barrier is reinforced with two heavy-gauge steel struts to be sealed in a 50 cm deep concrete foundation.
It is controlled by One-C logic, and smooth movements are ensured by the One-Sense angle sensor, which manages the acceleration and deceleration ranges. Its precision indicates the arm position to the nearest degree.
The housing is made of 4 mm thick steel, and the AB-C80 barrier offers all the features of the LBA12 barrier.
The anti-ramming locking system is automatic in the event of an impact, so there is no need to position a device manually for the barrier to be fully effective.
Its resistance is certified by a crash test carried out in accordance with IWA 14-1. The AB-C80 barrier stopped a 7.2-tonne HGV travelling at 80 km/h.
