Manual security barrier - Withstands the impact of a 7.2-tonne HGV at 80 km/h
The ALE-MSB-C80 security barrier, manufactured by AMCO, is a pivoting manual security barrier.
Equipped with a steel arm with an integrated retaining device, it is available in lengths of 2 to 10 m.
The MSB-C80 barrier can be opened in both traffic directions and is equipped with a device for locking the barrier in the open position.
Friction parts are equipped with automatic greasers facilitating maintenance. Operation is easy for a person working alone.
The pivot and reception posts are made of heavy-gauge steel, with an 8 cm gap between the top of the concrete foundation and the finished floor, allowing the integration of a floor finish tailored to the project.
The MSB C80 is available in a low-depth version allowing installation in a 41 cm deep excavation.
Its resistance is certified by a crash test carried out in accordance with IWA 14-1: the MSB-C80 barrier stopped a 7.2-tonne HGV travelling at 80 km/h, supplemented by a digital crash test carried out by an independent Cofrac-accredited body in accordance with IWA14-1 proving its ability to stop a 30-tonne HGV at 48 km/h.
